What Women Don’t Know

November 10th, 2010

There are many things that women don’t know about men – and sometimes we like to keep things that way! Girls are notorious for wanting to share their feelings so we usually have a pretty good idea what they’re thinking, however men are more reluctant to discuss things like that so it’s much easier to keep an air of mystery.

Because of our lack of input, women often come to their own conclusions about men which are sometimes way off the mark! Here are a few examples.

Not all guys are capable of having a ‘no strings attached’ fling for a long period; although a bed buddy sounds perfect, there are always some emotions involved. That’s why some men like to visit a different London escort each time; spending too much time with one girl could lead to you becoming attached. Men are often portrayed as heartless players, but this is a generalisation that does not apply to all.

When it comes to female friends and ex girlfriends, it’s a tricky business. What women should understand is that even if we fantasise about other girls and dream about having sex with them, it doesn’t mean we’re actually going to! Men are perfectly capable of imagining a scenario without acting on it; it’s more like curiosity than desire!

One thing we don’t understand is how women seem to be able to bond so quickly. If you put two together with a bottle of wine, within 5 minutes they’ll be talking for Britain and acting like best friends! For men, it takes a bit more time. We need to size each other up and suss each other out first.

When a women has insecurities, it’s usually quite obvious. They tend to fret about them and can become a bit needy, but it’s less common for men to act this way. However, that doesn’t necessarily mean that we don’t have any! Men still have body hang ups, worry about the future and wonder what people think of us. We just don’t talk about it – we don’t like to give things like that away. Some men can overcompensate by using their bravado to act over confident, which can either be a turn on or a turn off for women. Most men will agree that when a woman voices her insecurities, it is usually a turn off.

Some women eventually realise these things, but the likelihood is that the stereotypes will stick around for quite a while!
