Money Tight This Month? April 18, 2012, 3:20 p.m.

For some reason, this month seems extra long. There is, however, a standard thirty days to this month. So, why on earth does it feel so long? We all get these times, when we are wishing the month away till payday. Eagerly awaiting the day when your account is flooded with cash can be both frustrating and never ending. The more you wish for time to tick, the slower the duration will move. There are ways in which you can sit pretty, right till the end of the month. When it comes to money, no one wants to scrimp and save. But how can you get to the end of the month with still enough money left in your account?

It’s all about budget. At Chic, we always talk about how you can keep your pennies from escaping you so quickly. But what do you do when you are a week away from payday and you have little money left in your account? Tighten your belt. As annoying as it may be, you need to cut out the luxuries, make a packed lunch and sit tight to the glorious day comes. We know it can be difficult and so do the escorts London have to offer. Nothing’s worse than having to manage your money and cut back on spending on the finer things in life.

First thing’s first, work out how much it is you have left. When you’ve done that, you’ll get a better understanding of what it is you have to work with. Looking at your bank balance can be a terrifying task. Acknowledging that you are running on the red means that you have to accept and come to terms with your situation. Something that no one likes to do. But it does need to be done before you spend it all in a flash.

Once you know what you have left, you can work out a weekly or daily budget. This will hopefully stop you from overspending. Plus, you can also withdraw your limit for the day, and promise not to use your card for anything. Spending on the plastic can be misleading. You can’t see how much you have left and how quickly it is leaving your possession. When you’ve set yourself a limit on spending, keep the cards away and try to resist the urge to splurge.

Sounds simple enough, but you can do it. There isn’t too much longer till you get paid, so in the meantime, follow this rule of thumb and you’ll be fine. Keep checking in on our Managing Your Money blogs for more information on how to save and ways of making money. We like to help you out!
