This is not to say that the Princess Louise, is old and haggard. Not at all. The pub boasts an ageless classic and antique feel that is oh so popular and should be respected and revered by drinking in such an establishment.
This flagship London pub for Samuel Smith brewery has been fortunate to receive a great deal of care and attention. The detailed etched partitions with their stained glass windows, combined with the glorious high ceilings, this truly is an impressive venue. They’ve come up trumps here in High Holborn for the Princess Louise, but Samuel Smith do so all over London. There isn’t an interior of one of their pubs that doesn’t contain character and tradition.
